We offer MOT preparation and presentaiton for horseboxes of any age, make and model, from 3.5 - 12 ton
Booking and Drop-off
Please call Jim Dow on 07973 217405 to book a MOT or any work. We have pre booked MOT slots but please call well in advance to guarantee a space in our schedule. We offer flexable drop off 7 days a week and local collection
Estimate of work
An estimate of work and cost is sent to be authorised. After authorisation, all faults are rectified and we present your lorry for MOT at a DVSA test station.
Pre MOT Inspection
All vehicles get a pre MOT inspection where any faults found are recorded. We take pictures and videos of faults which are included in the estimate.
Collection and Payment
All collections are arranged in advance to allow us to have your lorry ready to go at the front of the yard. We also offer local delivery.
Payment options are cash, bank transfer or using the stripe payment system on all email invoices.
“Wish lists”
The MOT only covers mechanical components of your lorry chassis however often our customers’ lorries arrive with wish lists. These cover non MOT items that would normally go unnoticed. This is often things in the living or horse area, for example broken partitions or reversing camaras.
MOT Disclaimer
A MOT pass confirms that your vehicle at the time of its test met the minimum acceptable environmental and road safety standards required by law and therefore does not consititute the vehicle is in excellent condition.
MOT’s do not check floor and ramp integriy, During the pre-MOT inspection we visually check the floor and ramp from the underside of the vehicle however we can’t gurantee the integrity of the floor or ramp from a purely visual inspection. If you want the floor and/or ramp thoroughly inspected it will have to be requested and at additional cost.
